What are the top 5 signs you’re on the wrong life path?

Well, I couldn’t start this blog without first touching on signs that you are on the right life path.

How do you know?

Top 5 Signs You're On The Wrong Life Path

Being on the right life path means you are doing what you are meant to be doing with your life.

In Sanskrit, they call it “Dharma” which translates to “Purpose in Life”.

The Law of Dharma says that everyone has a unique talent that they can do better than anyone else in the world.

How do you know what yours is?

There are widely conflicting ideas as to how you know you’re on the right life path, but having studied personal development for a while now, the list below outlines what consistently comes up with people who strongly believe they are on the right life path:

  • They feel it in their gut.
  • There is thrill and exhilaration in their life.
  • Doors open to them easily.
  • Their body is in balance.
  • Good things happen.

Getting onto YOUR right path is a big topic and something I will cover in a later blog post, but a good place to start to establish if you’re on the right life path is to first analyse if you’re on the wrong one.

Make sense?

So, I’ve identified below the top 5 signs that may indicate that you’re on the wrong path and need to make a change.

Here we go:

  1. Bad Luck

If bad things keep happening, for example, getting fired, not getting the job or house you want, the end of a relationship or illness.

Then generally, these are clear (but overlooked) messages you are meant to change your life path.

They may seem catastrophic at the time, but often when you look back, they were in fact a blessing and a clear sign you need to switch paths.

  1. Presence of Toxic Relationships

When you stop to analyse close relationships, you realise that many of them are not healthy.

A perfect test to establish a Toxic Relationship is to analyse how you feel when you walk away from someone?

If you generally feel bad, the relationship is toxic.

  1. Addictions

If you’re drinking too much alcohol, or smoking, taking drugs or over eating then you could be on the wrong life path.

If you need the artificial highs to help you feel happiness in your life, then there could be something amiss.

  1. Unhealthy Body & Mind

You may be over-weight, you may be under weight. You’re tired and irritable, perhaps you’re not sleeping or find it really hard to get out of bed in the morning.

Feeling low can creep up on you without being aware, so watch out, but it’s a clear indicator that you must make changes.

  1. Your Career is “Blah”

If you’re not enthusiastic about the industry you’re in or your work has become a chore rather than enjoyable, then you’re on the wrong path.

Career dissatisfaction is so common, yet most people don’t do anything about it.

I can’t stress enough how important work enjoyment is to ensure you are on the right life path.

A quick blog post to help you start the questioning process of – “am I on the right path?”

Obviously, each one of the signs is a BIG topic in itself, but I hope this post will nudge you to start thinking about your life BIGGER PICTURE.

I understand that many of you will be thinking you would LOVE to be on the right path, but financial commitments are stopping you……….

Think about that for a moment.

Are there really no changes you can make in your life to free you up financially?
